If you can figure it out, I would be appreciative. I also think, after reading some threads over at TBA, that others had requested similar in the past. Who knows, maybe you're the person to solve both of these!

I'm a little late to the party here, but I figured I'd throw in my two cents for the sake of participation. Most of what I'm going to say here has already been said, but here it is anyway!
It isn't an understatement for me to say that I loathe movement points in most Muds. It punishes you for trying to play the game, no matter if you are just wandering around reading room descriptions, recover your corpse, or zipping from location to location trying to do a quest. It doesn't add anything to the gameplay value, and it a huge turn off to a lot of new players, especially since it usually has a much larger impact on the low level characters. Some will say that the best solution for MVP is to convert it into a shared resource for Warrior/Rogue, and I think that idea is fine as long as it no longer impacts how you are actually getting around the game world. Hunger/Thirst was mentioned as well, which is another thing that I believe simply slows the player from enjoying the game. I one hundred percent agree with the idea of removing it as a necessity to maintain stat regeneration, and replace it as a Buffing system. It would add a great deal of value to any sort of Cooking skill added down the road, and make it a valuable resource for players.
