Welcome to After the Breaking: STORMRIDERS MUD! We hope you enjoy your time with us.
OUR MISSION: We are dedicated to create an immersive, entertaining, and reasonably true to canon game experience based on 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons. Whether a Player has ten minutes or ten hours to spend, the experience needs to deliver opportunities to play that respects their time.
CORE VALUES:
* Gameplay comes first. Constant innovation and flexibility is needed to create an experience that will entertain, reach, and retain as many players as possible.
* Quality is required, not accidental. We must take an idea that is good, and seek feedback to make it great.
* We foster a community of fairness, and treat everyone with respect. We will be ethical and professional at all times.
* We are open to innovation and finding new ways to make ideas become reality.
* Our open-table style of gaming means everyone has a voice, whether they are a new player or a seasoned gamer. Ideas come from everywhere.
* We think big! Everything is an opportunity to grow, from player interaction influencing world design to technology changes introducing new processes to the game itself.
* We have fun - because if we're not having fun, we're doing something wrong.
PLAYER EXPECTATIONS: First and foremost, to have fun! Players should have an experience that feels like inclusion in the World of Silverwolf, has varying grades of difficulty, transparency for understanding game mechanics and rules of play, and offers a reasonably friendly environment. The ability to participate in storyline adventures, roleplay, pvp, and create their own personal characterization is something that every player should be able to freely enjoy.
INSIDE INFORMATION: The STORMRIDERS world and storyline is based on a tabletop campaign that the Implementors created back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and AD&D became 2nd edition AD&D. There's easily 20 years of adventures to be added to the game experience as it is converted to 5th edition D&D. Some things from the world aren't found in 5th edition as they are completely original to the Implementors. We love what we do! Thank you for playing with us!
