In a perfect world, we could all have epic gaming adventures together and at the end of the day tell the tale over our favorite beverages, get some sleep, and come back the next day ready to play some more. To help foster that, these are the Terms of Service. They are subject to change at any time, and by playing at After the Breaking: STORMRIDERS MUD you agree to accept and abide by them.
1) Everyone is welcome to play. We try to keep a PG-13 environment. Griefing, sexual harassment, and other forms of personal bullying are not allowed.
2) You may have as many characters as you like. Multi-playing is allowed but not encouraged.
3) Player killing is allowed, regardless of level. However, encourage the little ones to grow up so they are a foe worthy of your might.
4) Roleplay appropriate to the world genre is encouraged, and in some cases it's required. How a player roleplays is up to the individual, but it must be consistent with the world theme. Members of a guild or clan should follow that roleplay and any existing guild or clan rules at all times.
5) Character names are to be appropriate to the world theme, may not be nouns or verbs, and may not be from real life and other genres. Jon is an acceptable name while JonSnow is not. Gerald is an acceptable name while Gandalf is not. Titles are a priviledge and should be kept roleplay acceptable, and should not convey a message.
6) The Staff reserves the right to make any changes to the game content, temporary or permanent, without any advance notice.
7) No Staff member will ever ask you for your password. If approached by anyone claiming to need that information, report them immediately. Do not give it out under any circumstances.
8) There is no reimbursement, ever, unless Staff or a game bug has caused the loss. We know we'll cause bugs. We have logs to help us ascertain what may have been lost.
9) If you think something is too good to be true, report it. Don't abuse it. Abusing a bug is not acceptable.
10) Open-table gaming means that the player is responsible for their own anonymity, or lack of it, with other players. Players are encouraged to be cautious about sharing personal information including but not limited to real names, contact information, other characters played, etc.
When in doubt, refer to #1.
By playing After the Breaking: STORMRIDERS MUD you agree to all rules and all terms of service. We want everyone to have a good time. See you in the game!
